Despite the whiplash reforms due on the 31st of May 2021 there will still be a large number of claims that will need initial investigation as well as post litigation investigations. With over 30 years motor claims experience working within insurance companies, solicitors and CMC's dealing with personal injury, property damage and credit hire claims we have a comprehensive knowledge of the evidence required when investigating or pursuing a claim.
Client Statements
In any claim the sooner information is taken from the client, the more reliable. On any potentially disputed case, where circumstances dictate, a comprehensive statement from the client can be the most powerful piece of evidence that can be obtained. We have strict SLA's to ensure clients are contacted on the same day, an instruction is received and a statement is taken within 72 hours of the initial instruction to ensure the clients memory of the accident is as clear as possible.
independent Witness Statements
As with obtaining clients statements, early evidence gathering is essential. Witnesses are notoriously difficult to contact the longer time passes between an incident and the start of the initial investigation. We again apply a strict SLA for contacting and taking statements from witnesses.
Post Litigation Statements
Post litigation statements are our speciality. Having run cases post ltigation to trial we are well versed in the detail that needs to be covered, not only in relation to liability, but particularly the affects of an injury on a claimant both physically and psychologically, and the losses that the client has suffered. These can take time and patience and a good understanding to obtain, in the required detail, from a client. We apply strict SLS's to contact, appointment and return of these statements.
Credit Hire Statements
Having worked within the credit hire industry in relation to both car and motorbike hire, we have a good understanding of what is required, evidentially, from the client in statements obtained to assist with litigation. We have found that experience in the field puts clients at ease when giving evidence and allows them to give the required amount of evidence with confidence.
Locus Reports
Locus reports are a very useful tool in establishing liability both at the outset and at court. We are able to provide both digital and hard copy reports and photographs for use in liability disputed cases.
